Doctor of Physical Therapy & Owner

Philosophy
I am passionate about the power of connection, education, and overall health – body and brain. As a physical therapist, I get to combine these passions as I work one-on-one with individuals of all backgrounds to help them achieve their movement goals. My goal is to provide a space in which my patients feel heard as they share their story, so that, together, we can work as a team to get them back to functioning at their optimal level. Through education, I strive to empower patients to make positive changes to their overall health, regardless of where they are at in their health journey. I value research and use evidence-based practice to guide my treatment sessions.

Background
I was born and raised in Naperville, Illinois, but I consider Iowa my home now. I spent a semester abroad in Sevilla, Spain, which fostered a deep love of traveling, language, and experiencing new cultures, food, people, and places. I live in North Liberty with my husband, Ryan, our daughter, Charlie, and our two cats. I’m an avid adventurer and I love being active outdoors doing all of my favorite things, including running, hiking, snowboarding, and wakeboarding. I also enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, reading, baking, and playing the ukulele.
